elevation of 790 m (2591 ft. We are located at the junction of Highways 1 and 95.
The Columbia and Kicking Horse Rivers flows
through our city. Golden is situated amidst six mountainous national
parks. These parks are: Yoho, Banff, Jasper, Kootenay, Glacier and Mount Revelstoke.
